Have you ever heard of and wondered what the “u3a” is?  The name stands for The University of the Third Age, but it is NOT a university in the way most of us imagine (no exams or qualifications!).  It is an international movement and in Great Britain many towns have their own u3a group.  It is aimed at retired and semi-retired people who wish to take part in a variety of educational, creative, and physical activities, and having a lot of fun and making new friends whilst doing so!

Dementia Friendly Community

Broadwas and Cotheridge Parish Council are looking into the two parishes becoming a Dementia Friendly Community. We would like to hear from people in the Parish living with Dementia, and their families, so we can move to make this aspiration a reality.

We would also like to hear from any business in the Parish who are interested in having a Dementia-Friendly policy

Please contact Jacqui Worrall by email Jacuk@aol.com or by phone 07976615868
